編者按:滿理愛是位美國弟兄，從沒到過中國，但卻十分愛中國。當他聽說四川一個貧困地區的學生上學難時，他慷慨解
囊，贊助了上百位有困難的同學。他不久前寫了這封信給每位接收幫助的同學。
親愛的中國學生，
我想寫信給你，告訴你我是多麽高興我能幫助你求學。能夠獲得教育是你一生中幫助你自己和你所愛之人的最美好的一件事
。我太太和我都在禱告，望你能盡力追求學業，成爲一名優秀的學生。在學業方面的成功，會爲你在人生的許多領域都奠下
成功的基礎。
對我們而言，你有機會讀書，成績優良，都是一件十分重要的事。你可能在想:“爲什麽一位元在異國他鄉的素不認識之
人，會來關心我以及我的學業？”這個問題提得好。我們希望告訴你，是我們的救主耶穌基督把這個愛放在了我們心裏。當
我成爲基督徒的時候，我成爲了一個完全的新人，這是聖經的教導。作爲一個新人，我關心他人就如同關心我的弟兄或姐妹
一樣。在我遇見耶穌以前這是不可能的。因此，我和我的太太也特別關心你的身心發展。我和我的太太都是基督徒，我們對
你的關懷可稱之爲“基督之愛。”
上帝透過耶穌基督來關愛全人類。我太太和我都與耶穌有一種密切的關係，其實，我們並不配耶穌的大愛，但他依然愛著我
們。我們從耶穌獲得了無條件的愛之後，我們的心中就充滿了喜樂，並有一個真切的渴望去關心和幫助他人。
我們將常常爲你、你的家庭和學業禱告。願上帝祝福你，也願你能親身體驗上帝的愛。

Dear Students in China,
I wanted to write to you and tell you how happy I am to help you with your studies. Getting an education is one of the best things in life that you can do to help yourself and your loved ones. My wife and I pray that you will diligently pursue your schooling and be the best student that you can possibly be. If you succeed in this area, you will succeed at many things in life.
It is important to us that you attend and do well in school .You might wonder, Why would someone in another country, someone that I have never met care about me or my education? This is a worthy question .We would like to tell you about the love in our hearts that is put there by our Lord and Savior,Jesus Christ. When I became a Christian, I became a new person, just as the Bible said I would . As this new person, I care about each person as a brother or a sister.This would not have been possible before I met Jesus.? For this reason,? your welfare is of concern to me and my wife? who is also a Christian . We call this the? love of Christ.
God loves the world through Jesus Christ.? My wife and I each have established our own personal relationship with Jesus. We were unworthy of this love, but He loved us still. This unconditional love that we receive from Christ puts joy in our hearts and a real desire to love and help others .
We will be praying for you, your family and your studies.May God bless you and may you experience His love.
