Li Fengjin (Li Fengjin 李风金)

This type of depiction was powerful in comic rhetoric, and it could be seen before and even after the end of the Cultural Revolution, as in a number of 1950s comics (this being one example): Li Fengjin and Gu Shujin are working under the bright shining sun surrounded by sunflowers.
