Songs to Criticize Lin Biao and Confucius

In the course of the so-called Anti-Lin-Biao, Anti-Confucius Campaign which began around 1973 and lasted for almost 2 years, the works by Confucian philosophers were criticized by factory workers, peasants and soldiers who were officially declared the “key detachment” 主力军 and backbone of the movement (an entire issue of the journal Xuexi yu pipan 学习与批判 is so entitled: “Workers, peasants and soldiers are the key detachment in the criticism of Lin Biao and Confucius” 工农兵是批林批孔的主力军，Xuexi yu pipan 1974.2) and a few songs on the topic were published, too.
